I do not know but the one that I got was not a high volume oil pump like I ordered it is a factory oil pump and it does not put more oil on top of the motor as well

How is this a high volume oil pump of the gears and spring are identical to standard volume pump?

Volume = amount Pressure = force behind the amount The difference between a standard and a high volume pump is slight difference in interval size of the pump. I.E. I can move a little more oil, at the same pressure. You can change the spring in the bypass valve to build higher pressure

Anyone had this pump for a couple years? Is it still lasting?

I placed this pump on my 2002 4.8 GMC in 2017. at idle it's 50psi, cruising it's 65psi. revving out it's 70psi. 2022 it's still going.

do I put both O rings on pickup tube and does this pump need to be primed?

Single o-ring and it doesn't hurt to prime the pump but on an engine that's already been driven regular daily, it's already pre lubed. If it's a fresh engine then by all means prime it with the socket designed to actuate that pump
