I purchased the Zeee Lipo Bag Fireproof Battery Safe Bag to store my portable battery powered strobes safely, and it has been an excellent investment for peace of mind.The bag is made from high-quality fireproof and explosion-resistant materials, which provide a solid layer of protection in case of any battery mishap. I’m not sure why I didn’t do this route earlier. These are cool little bags and it’s nice having the small one for transporting or packing away. The black bag will fit quite a few batteries and the access ports on the side are awesome for charging. I was actually surprised with how tough the velcro was on them! Perfect little bag!!

These are great since it gives me a stay at home bag and a travel bag. It appears to be made of material similar to what race car drivers wear. They are decent fire resistant bags. They should give you more time to either escape or throw the bag somewhere safe. Don’t be fooled by the marketing - that is all you should reasonably expect from something that is made of fabric and has a zipper.If you need something that will truly contain any fires, an airtight cast iron safe should do the trick. Personally, I keep my batteries in smaller bags inside these Zeee bags to buy myself more time but I am under no illusions that my setup will stop fires.The best way to stay safe is don’t overcharge your batteries and replace any that get damaged. A 90% charge appears to be the best for getting the most out of your battery (see the 03/2022 issue of Model Aviation) - a number that is consistent with the recommendation from cell phone makes.
