Plz read this b4 you decide against it
Excellent product. We owned a lawn and landscape company for decades and worked with everything from that black edging that requires so much digging, to metal edging with stakes, composite, ties, you name it ... and this is by far and unquestionably the easiest product I have ever worked with. Yes, the stakes (nails/pegs/whatever) are plastic. Don't use a metal hammer or sledge on them. I put all mine in with a dead blow mallet.. one of the bright orange ones filled with sand from Harbor Freight for a few bucks, and it worked fantastically. Also better to drive them in from the inside of the edging so you're less apt to hit the high part & crack it. I put in 50 plus steaks and didn't crack a single piece of the edging, or break a single tab. But ... if you hit a rock or a root with a plastic stake, of course it will break. Extra stakes are sold separately online for less than 25 centa apiece, or get the branded ones at Home Depot or Lowe's. And if you have a lot of roots or small rocks under the surface, you can buy eight inch timber/tie nails and use a metal sledge to drive them in. I ended up using eight galvanized tie nails (70 cents apiece from Home Depot) on 100 ft of edging, in addition to all the plastic stakes that came with it. Easy peasy. You are only limited by the ground you are staking into. These are not great for undulating uphill or on grades. It is best on level surfaces - like most landscape edging - as it's pretty rigid vertically. And you do not have to put stakes in every single tab. I put mine about every four to six tabs and it is staying put. I can weed it against it. It holds in our 2" of bark mulch. It is fantastic. I also let it warm up in the heat before I laid it out so it was less apt to try and curl back up and was much easier to work with. I did all 100' from scratch to completion in less than 2 hours (in 100° heat). I cannot express how much I wish we had this landscaping product back in the day. Would have saved my back for sure. A++

Excellent edging
This is a must to use to keep everything nice. Its effective and easy to install. Its a good value and the quality is outstanding. Its thickness is excellent and does not bend easily. The included stakes are good ,but I bought extra ones as I like to make it secure more then normal. This edging is very effective by not letting anything come out of it.

I would have given this product a 5, however, due to a certain inconsistency, I just gave it a 4.
The product was easy to install, easy to use and seem to be sturdy. We bought two orders of this product and it served our purpose and was satisfied with it however, we had to return one of the boxes for an exchange, because the project kit was missing the supposedly included (40) 8 in. anchoring spikes and (5) connectors, (should be 5 packets of 8 spikes). Furthermore, when we opened the remaining box, it only included 32 spikes (4 packet of 8 spikes). Eventually, when the exchanged box arrived and opened it, it also included just 32 spikes instead of the 40 spikes, as described on the detailed description of the product. It seems that the description of the product should be corrected to read 32 instead of 40, or whatever the correct contents should be. In summary, except for this inconsistency, the product fit the intended purpose and conforms to a certain quality of a buyer’s need. See below the description as it appears on the order. About this item * Project kit includes (1) 100 ft. coil of 1.7 in. tall landscape edging, (40) 8 in. anchoring spikes and (5) connectors * Made of commercial grade recycled plastic * Flexible enough to make curves or straight sections * Suitable for all soil types * Quick & simple installation, no digging required

Nice Edging
Excellent edging. Easy to install. Does not bend easily. I would suggest using more stakes to secure than recommended. The price is cheaper than big box stores and comes in longer lengths.

Very good! Here are some tips..
We used this to edge around our back yard lawn and fill the tree area with playground mulch to prevent weed growth. This edging works quite well! It's pretty strong, and is pretty straight if you install it correctly. Here are some installation tips that will help: 1. Unroll the edging and make sure it's not twisted. Let sit in the sun for ~30 minutes so it can warm up and expand. 2. Use spikes as needed BUT DO NOT hammer the spikes in as if it was a nail. As others have mentioned, hammer only until the spike touches the edging. Hammering it further is not necessary, and will cause the edging to bend / warp right away. So don't do it. 3. Use landscape staples in between spikes. Same as spikes, don't hammer these in too hard so as to not warp and bend the edging. With these 3 tips not only will your installation be easier, but the edging will look straight and have enough room to expand / contract with the weather. Treat it as a "floating floor" where you need to leave a gap between the spike and the ground so that the edging can "float" over time as it expands and contracts and remain looking straight. We ordered 2x more 100ft rolls to do the rest of our landscaping!

It is very easy to install! I like the sturdiness if the material. As someone else pointed out- best to unwind the coil before use to lose some of the memory from the packaging. Could use a few more spikes. All in all, I would but again if needed.

Easy to install. Comes out of the box like a coiled mess but once you get it going it's manageable. Not enough spikes enclosed, I found you need about 1 per 4th or 5th hole so either you order more or go to Home Depot and buy a pack of 8 for around $5 Cdn or so and yeah I did end up spending another $50-$60 Cdn. on those but I had over 200 ft. to install. Well worth it 'cos now my backyard garden is in better, uniform shape and the mulch stays there. Nice heavy duty product made well and should last a long time. I'd enclose some pics but winter showed up early, go figure !
