Whole Formulas Pau D’Arco, 90 ct Pau d’arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa), or “pink lapacho,” is a tree native to the rainforests of Central and South America. It can reach heights of 125 feet and is decorated with stunning clusters of pink or violet flowers. The exterior bark is extremely tough and resistant to disease. The Portuguese translation means “bow stick” in reference to the bows created from the tree by South American Indians.The inner bark of pau d’ arco is used for medicinal purposes.
