I was so excited to come across this lunch box, that for the design alone I was willing to spend much more than I normally do on a lunch bag (to me, it screams DRAGON).Unfortunately, when the item description says 12x12 it means including the handles, not useable space. The other 2 dimensions fell short (width and base) but not as significantly as the height, which is only 9inches from base to zipper- photos with ruler. Much better suited to kids/teenagers and not adults.I sat and played around with different containers i have to try and figure out what the max capacity would be and if I need to return it. There is a photo showing exactly what I was able to fit in and how the lunch bag looked full. I was not able to fit my reusable water bottle, but was able to fit 2 store bought bottles. I was able to fit my smaller entree container, a snack container and a half-full quart sized ziplock bag. A slightly bigger entree container would've prevented me from being able to put the water bottles inside.I have to play around some more and see what else I can do with this in order to decide if I'm returning this lunch box. The design is truly beautiful, it came in good condition and the smell is minimal (but the tags do say to wash it before first use). But if I can't make it work for a 16hr day, I just can't justify keeping it. I will say that if my lunches were always going to be sandwiches, it'd be fine but that's not realistic for me. I can't keep a lunch bag I have to buy special containers for or can only take certain lunches with.

I received this as a gift. Before use, I put it in the washing machine, as the manufacturer recommends. This basically destroyed the lunch box (see picture). I replied to an e-mail sent by the seller that was asking about my satisfaction and eagerly offering to remedy any issues. I described what happened and requested a replacement but never heard anything back. Bottom line: don't put it in the washing machine, though the manufacturer plainly recommends you do so. Also, don't expect anything from customer service. I have no doubt that the product is delightful, given the other positive reviews. I just haven't made it that far.

One wash in machine as recommended and this is what I end up with :( was in search of a lunchbag and ended up picking this one and paid 4 times the other ones in amazon search because I am an artist and want to support others. Love the art work but not the quality.

This is the perfect lunch bag. The right size and feel. The material is just stretchy enough and comfortable to carry into work along with my purse, door badge, coffee cup, and any other miscellaneous items I am carrying lol. It's not bulky but fits alot of items. Definitely a good buy and I love that it's artsy and creative looking. Just do it, you will be happy with your purchase!

UPDATE: I’ve Moved onto those plastic rectangle meal prep containers and now this doesn’t really work for me. So sad.So if you plan on using those great meal prep containers, this is not the lunch bag for you. Get a good square one.Vibrant and flexible. It works for what I need it for which is school lunch. It does smell weird but the smell dies down after a while. Typical TV dinners don't fit in here though if you are in a rush and didn't cook or pack food the night prior. Only the square ones do.

It does not keep my lunch cold. Shortly after packing my lunch, including frozen packs, the outside of the bag is cold. My lunch is warm by lunchtime. It is just a thick material, there seems to be no thermal qualities. The dimensions of the lunch bag is nice, but my tall bottles tend to tip over.Down rating to 1 star. Some oil and vinegar leaked inside. Instead of a simple wipe in a thermal insulated lunch bag, it soaked into the fabric. It required a machine wash, and even then it feels oily still. I will be getting a new and different lunch bag.

Exactly as pictured and couldn't be any cuter. This is a photo of what I packed today for lunch (along with a photo of what the bag looked like with everything in it) and there was still room for more. I had packed an ice pack with yesterday's lunch but found I didn't really need it - the items stayed cool for a good four hours (not to mention the bag was much lighter) without one.

I used the octopus design for two years, and somehow I’ve lost it! I really liked this bag and got a ton of compliments on the design. I’m ordering the wave design today to replace my missing octopus (not going to get the same pattern in case I find my old one).It kept my food cool for a reasonable amount of time (though it usually went straight into the work fridge) and it wasn’t difficult to fit what I needed. I generally bring a yogurt, seltzer, apple, and either a freezer meal or medium sized Tupperware of food.I had to wash it a few times when food spilled inside, and turning it inside out and throwing it in the washing machine worked fine. When I’ve needed to stuff extra stuff in there like a bottle of salad dressing, it was usually stretchy enough to accommodate it.It also folds up easily if you are like me and share one fridge with twenty/something other people.

I've been looking for a while for a lunch cooler tote bag and this one ticks all the boxes. It's more expensive than the usual bog standard foil insulated cooler bags but I figured with it being neoprene it would be worth the spend and I wanted one that would last. It's very well made, has its own individual design (wide choice available), is washable, and is large enough to take a standard size lunch box and other items, ie microwave soup mug, small container of grapes and a banana, as well. It keeps food cool for several house without going in the fridge, which suits me as I use it to take lunch to work. I'm not sure how it will fair during hot Summer months but can plan on putting in a couple of small freezer packs or will just place it in the fridge at work! Overall a good buy which I'm well pleased with.

Super cute lunch bag. Easily holds two large food thermos flasks. It doesn't really keep things that cold or hot, not like the foil lined bags, but it does help a bit and is convenient for holding food in - just don't expect the cold/hot thing, it's just made of wetsuit material so it has its limitations. Very pretty though with a good strong chunky zip.

I love this lunchbox, I've had it for about 6 months now and it gets used regularly. You can fit a lot in there, including tupperware boxes. Anytime I have a spill it can just pop into the washing machine. Keeps my sandwiches cool until lunch time, but you would probably want to pop in an ice pack on very hot days.

Great bag. Looks so good. Well made. Fits a good sized packed lunch + 300ml size bottle, fruit and yogurt. Using freezer blocks, it'll keep food cold for about 6 to 7 hours.

Nice artist and image but not the size depicted in pic of picnic! this is a smaller bag and not the advertised 'large' tote. A bit disappointed is a present for someone and dont think it is worth 16.99 based on the size, quick delivery well packed but overpriced for what you get
