Marine environments, especially salt water, can cause severe problems for metal. When steering , tilting , or other moving parts need lubrication it is best to get the best. Bearings on trailers are in a world of hurt every time you bury the trailer to launch or pull out. Only the best grease can provide the longest life for them. i use it on a daily base at work (outboard tec). its a good grease to prevent many things on an outboardengine from saltwater corrosion. but its also a very good grease for other things to be greased. i can highly recommend it.
