Allersearch ACARIL Laundry Additive 34 Oz (1 Liter)

Dust allergies abound in our household and a laundry additive to treat dust mites is a staple. While not inexpensive, it does the trick. All linens get washed with this additive and it is really noticeable when we travel and don't have this, what a difference it makes in our day to day lives. Effective, no scent to irritate sensitive skin, easy to use; just pour half a capful, using provided cup, into laundry with regular detergent. No need for hot water that may damage fabrics.

I didn’t know just how much this worked until I went without it for a few weeks. They were definitely miserable weeks of itching and stinging from my clothes. I got some more of this stuff ASAP and now my PJs are comfy again

I have pet and dust mite poop allergies, so we use need Acaril to denature our clothes, towels and bedding of allergens. We use the Acaril in every load. There is no noticeable odor from Acaril on our clothes, towels or bedding. Each liter lasts about 20 loads. We've been using Acaril for about 10 years now.

And my hand tuns red across all the knuckles while simply pushing the load down into the water to soak. Turns out, it's the WATER, not the additive that is turning my hand red. Dyshidrotic eczema. Works well, and it doesn't smell like tea tree oil. Leaves no fragrance in sheets. I sleep so much better after laundering the sheets, but it only lasts for maybe 3 days. Will continue to purchase.

Used as directed. Ran a load of clothes as usual. Only thing different was the ACARIL. Thank goodness I didnt was all of my clothes. Put on first set of clothes washed in ACARIL a few days after washing. Within hours I broke out in severe itching. Used several top end anti itch soaps etc... but I am still itching. Took me a day or so to figure out what happened. The only thing I had used different in my daily routine was ACARIL when washing clothes. So this may not be for you if you have skin that can be irritated by switching brands or adding anything to your wash.

Noticed no difference

I was pleased to find this product did not have an odor like one of its competitors. Works well. I do wish such products were not so expensive, but it is worth the cost to keep my allergies down.
