Perfect for what it can do! Neighbor's car needed a jump start. Later in the day we checked the battery with this and it showed the battery wasn't in good condition. Accurate. Also tested my car's battery and charging system. Worked as expected.I have two jump-start packs because I'm on the road a lot. Each pack will include one of these simple analyzers.

Easy to use
Good and inexpensive product to have in your garage. Allows you to test your battery and alternator so that you can replace them before they break down. I was considering replacing the OEM battery in my nearly five year old car, but the tester shows it is still going strong. I'll keep testing it it periodically and change it when I need to.

Love the design. Incredibly easy to use...but
I love this design. Simple to use with quick digital readout with LED indicators of charge quality and alternator output. A very good and inexpensive choice. That said, the battery clamps are extremely light weight and bend easily. The negative terminal clamp was bent on arrival and, as such, would not stay clipped to the battery terminal. I was able to repair (at least temporarily) with needle nosed pliers. Would have happily paid a couple dollars more for quality terminal clamps. With decent clamps, would have given this product 5 stars.
