Q: Has anyone seen improved reception with this in the eastern sierras, yosemite, or southern utah?

So that I don't know. BUT we use it in texas “HILL Country” with verzion went from one bar no data to 4 to 5 bars with data doing 35 to 50 MBS is now.

Q: Is the outside antenna a female or a male connection?

Thank you for your question! The outside antenna is a SMA Male and the inside on the amplifier is an SMA Female. The connector on the antenna with no adapter is SMA Female but comes with a SMA Male to SMA Male adapter so the coax cable can feed through the mounting hardware. Q: If you are parked at a Truck Stop, will it allow everyone to use it, or is it secure with a password or what?

Thank you for your question! This product will not allow other users to use the booster as long as there's no other persons in the vehicle with you. This is a multi-user booster, but depending on the signal strength outside, product setup, and other factors, it's going to be a limited range inside the vehicle. If someone were able to use it, it won't cause you to slow down since it's not the booster that's making the signal, but making the connection outside better. The only limitations are the towers itself that are in the area. Q: How secure is this to the truck? I live/travel through some sketchy areas and don’t want this to get stolen.

It’s bolted on. The electronics are all inside so there isn’t much to steal.
