Update: I initially was using 15 min vinegar as a sanitizer. I tried even 1.5 minutes vinegar, and still had poor yield. When I next skipped the sanitizer step, I got excellent yield: nearly all seed sprouted fine. So it seems like most of these broccoli seeds are just can't tolerate vinegar exposure, even for a short period. If you skip that step for these seeds (and their mixed seed packages that contain some broccoli seeds), you are likely to have a much better yield.[Original review, 2 stars] About half the seeds failed to sprout. Several others have mentioned this in their reviews as well, although many others didn't. (In comparison, their alfalfa seeds consistently sprout nearly 100%, batch after batch.) Did a few of us just get a seeds from a bad lot? Not sure I want to buy another bag to see if it improves, as these are already fairly expensive compared to other sprouting seeds.
