Brilliant as always
I love DK books! They’re so easy to get on with, informative, well written with beautiful photographs. Great beginner books, have really made my journey into fossils much easier! I’m ready for an upgrade now but to something slightly more in-depth but can’t recommend these books enough. Great family friendly pocket guide (well not quite pocket sized but lightweight enough for a rucksack!) Good bit of advice on kit You might need also. All round winner

Clear, informative
Like all the DK books, this is clear and informative with tons of photos and illustrations. There have been a couple of species that I couldn't find in the book (UK Mid Jurassic) - hence 4 star rather than 5 star - but all-in-all a helpful addition to the bookshelf and companion to their Rocks & Minerals version.

Manuale eccellente scritto in un inglese semplice e chiaro accessibile anche a chi non è anglofono. Peccato che una possibile traduzione in italiano possiamo soltanto sognarcela. Esiste un piccolo libro in italiano composto in uno stile grafico simile ma è ridotto all'osso.
