We were expecting more background on the older Beatle songs. The majority of the book is about post Beatle music.

Whoever converted this to digital did a horrible job. The print is miniscule and garbled with letter running over each other. Unreadable.....do NOT buy the kindle version.....I wish I'd have gotten the print version but I'm not going to spend the much for this book....I wish I could get my money back but not sure how.

Interesting stories behind the songs. Gave him this along with Paul’s new vinyl- grandson prefers vinyl to digital! So wise beyond his 18 years! 💕💕

There seem to be a lot of Paul McCartney lyrics books recently (a huge one with ALL his lyrics coming in November 2021). This 192-page well-illustrated hardbound volume contains Liverpudlian music journalist Mike Evans choosing 50 songs of the 200+ songs that McCartney wrote after the breakup of the Fab Four. And providing essays on each. Much of the Evans work is to quote other people (the sources are listed in the back as well as a song index. For each song that was in an album, we are shown the album cover and full track list. And there are plenty of “single releases” too. The photos (in both black and white and color) make the page layout attractive.All McCartney fans should enjoy this volume. I did, though I can’t say I own many McCartney solo projects. Still I learned things new to me. So think of this book as Evans “compilation” of facts and quotes from other music journalists “He said”, “She Said”, and you’ll have a fun time.Steve Ramm“Anything Phonographic”

My Friend Boone gave me this latest written work of Sir Paul. Such an ever most thoughtful gift that has been thoroughly enjoyed from cover-to-cover, and now resides on a table for our company to enjoy too! Best Gift Ever!S.

Kevin is a true Beatle fan and afficianado, of the group. So, when this was published I had to get it for his Beatle library. Although it is a compilation of Pauls music after the Beatles, it is a must for him. Easy to read, finally learn the words, and enjoy the dreamy photos.

I am a big fan of Macca and this is a great addition to my collection.
