Flexfone FLX-10 Twin Speaker Transcription Headset with Volume Control

I've done transcription work for nearly a decade and this headset ranks as one of the best I've used, especially considering the price point. The first time I used it I immediately noticed the crisp, clear quality of audio--it seems to make it easy to pick up speech even when faced with an especially poor quality audio recording. I've worn them for long stretches without even the slightest ear soreness. As a bonus, the set comes with an extra set of foam covers, a FlexiPort connector, and a carry bag. The cord has a volume control attached to it and is on the shorter side, which is a plus for me, since I tend to find the longer ones get in the way and get twisted. The price, quality, features, and extras, make this a set I will continually buy over and over again. I would recommend it to anyone who does transcription work.

The clarity of sound is superb. The vol adjustment wheel works very well. The earpieces are extremely comfortable to wear with very little physical pressure. You can wear them for long periods without removing them.

I have diminishing hearing on the left with no hearing on the right however I'm a secretary to types dictation all day so I've been looking for headphones with true volume control. This is the best so far and not as expensive as another brand I purchased previously.

This is a great headset. It is just long enough with the volume on the cord. Some headsets have cords that are so long they are cumbersome, but this one is just the right distance from the computer when sitting and doing transcription or just listening to songs. And if you need the cord longer, it comes with an extension. Sound quality is great too. I have owned several of these headsets in the past and I will definitely buy them again.

I purchased this headset for use at home and this is my first experience with a Flexfone headset by VEC. I have tried other, more expensive ones so I thought I would give the Flefxone a try due to the price and I am glad I did. The doctors' voices are extremely clear with these headsets and as stated in other reviews, the cord length is exactly right. When needed, will replace my headset at work with this one.

Was not sure if I really needed these, but they really make transcribing easier.
