Venom Adjustable Motorcycle Pivot Center Lift Bar Stand Compatible with Kawasaki Vulcan Classic Custom 900

It's OK I guess for the price, but it seems sketchy. There are no instructions for assembly or use, so you have to figure it out from the photo on the box. Not that bad I guess, but still. My main complaint is that it feels pretty flexible with my 610 lb. bike, like at any time it could fatigue and then fail. For example, if a weld goes or the Chinese metallurgy isn't reliable (either feels like a possibility), then "boom" my bike is on the floor on its side. Would not recommend without some backup support. I wouldn't rely on it alone. YMMV, but I'm going to replace with a proper jack and just toss this.

A couple of years ago i bought motorcycle jack to lift and work on my cruiser. Although it did the job, my back would always lean to one side when it was on the lift. Also, the lift was hard to move around my small garage. I finally started looking for something else and I ran across this lift stand. I couldn't believe the cost since my other list cost 3 times as much. I gave this a try when it around since i had to service my bike. Wow, what a difference. This is compact, easy to use and even easier to store and it worked better than the big bulky lift that I was using. My bike sits low so I only needed to use the lowest position, so I still have a lot more height to go in case I by another bike.

Pros: Cheap, 3 min assembly, adjustable.Cons: Coating of bar where you bike sits may not last.FIX- If it splits, replace with a chunck of garden hose.I have been looking for a bike lift such as this for about three months and was more than willing to spend nearly 200 bucks for one. This one is cheap enough that I took a chance. I really could not be happier. The lift arm is not the most robust so extremely heavy bikes might need a heavier lift. But for cleaning and modest maintenance of your bike....how can you beat this?

Fantastic product

I bought this stand for my 2003 V-Star 650. Assembly was fast and easy. Takes almost no effort to lift the bike in the air. If the stand's height is set to hole 3 and higher, it's necessary to sit on motorcycle and hold it level to be able to slide the stand under the bike. Once the bike is in the air, it's extremely stable!The silver parts of the lift had small burrs which prevented me from sliding the "garden hose" covered tube into them. I used a small file to remove them and the stand works perfectly! Considering the price I paid, I give it 5 stars!
