great on hard surfaces walking allot and in my steal toe boots as they are never comfortable
they feel weird at first, but if you walk allot and especially on hard surfaces these definately help. I am female and use the men's cause my feet are wide and I wear steel toe boots at work which are never comfortable and these help allot

Not for my shoes -- I use these to cushion subwoofers
If you live in an apartment building (or have wood floors in your home) you're familiar with the vibrations from music coming through the walls.I put my home-theater woofer (woofer = low notes, the kind that travels through walls) on a small cutting board, and put that board on a pair of gel "shock absorbing" insoles. works beautifully. the gel material is designed to absorb vibrations, and as long as it keeps the woofer completely off of the floor (thus the small cutting board) it keeps my neighbors happy.

Now these are great, they make my life a bit better. I walk and hike along so this a magical product, well to me!

Not worth the money
Certainly not worth the money--slips in shoe--balls up, and is very uncomfortable. These are like having nothing at all. Terrible!!!!

Not ventilated and cause instant condensation build-up.
I bought these based on brand name and ones I had seen in Brick and Mortar stores.They look and feel great, but I had condensation (literally water beading up on them) after wearing them in ventilated safety shoes for one shift.Unable to drill or poke any ventilation holes through them because of materials used.

Meh, decent but not making me run around the room punching myself in the head
Hmm, pretty good, but doesn't provide as much padding as i thought it would (got them for favourite adidas, which have a high bump in the arch area for some reason), and they are a little bit of a PITA because they're too grippy so your socks want to move them when you're putting your shoes on. They do provide a certain amount of comfort though.

there's been less nights of complaints and her knees feel much better in general
Bought these for my daughter for lacrosse and some of her dance shoes to cut down on the wear and tear on her knees. Since she started using them, there's been less nights of complaints and her knees feel much better in general.One complaint, it makes it very tough to see what size you should cut. An insert with men's/women's shoe size chart that you could use would be a little more accurate than using the bottom of the shoe.

Poor
Not as great as i thought they would be. I am on my feel all day and they dont really feel like they are there. My socks get stuck to then sometimes when i take off my shoes, the mesh is already starting to rip on them.

Larger size than expected
It was super large, almost man size. I had to cut quite a bit to fit my feet/shoes. Comfort level is ok
