PowRyte 18 Gauge 2-in-1 Air Brad Nailer/Narrow Crown Stapler with Tool-Free Jam Release Mechanism

I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews, but it has worked for me. I was installing some quarter round in my trailer, and every guy should own a nail gun. Few drops of oil in the air intake, loaded with staples and I was off and running (already had an air compressor). Since it is s staple and nail gun, if you have it set to set the nail into your material, it will leave a larger mark, even with finish nails. The "pusher" is staple shaped. So would not be my first choice for trim inside my house. I shot about 100 staples, and had minimal problems. For some reason staples did not always advance, so I would shoot blank, check for jams (none) reinstall staples and try again. When I built my house, I borrowed nail guns from others, and those rarely jammed, so if I were building another house, I would certainly invest in a high quality gun, but for trim, nailing carpet, little projects this will serve fine.

The standard generic brad nailer/stapler. No reason to pay more money when at the cost of this unit you can have two of them for the price of one brand name product. It does the job just as well as any and if you buy two, there is always backup. It has held up through thousands of brads and staples. It works.

The item came in an unmarked cardboard box and not a retail package.I ran about 500 brads through this thing before I got a jam - it could have been my fault but I don't believe I was moving too fast. I had to learn how to take apart the gun which I knew would void my warranty but for the price I figured I had nothing to lose plus I would need to learn how to work on my tools anyways.By looking closely and marking all the pins I was able to fix the jam no problem at oil and oil it back up in the process and it runs like a champ again.It is obviously light-weight and not made of heavy duty material, but for home use it's a great buy. I wouldn't recommend this as an "on the job" tool for reliance.

I don't use this as much as I would like due to lack of time but I just got this to work on a project for my wife...a screened in porch. This thing worked very well. Had to open in up once to unjam a staple but found I really needed to add a small amount of oil and never had another problem. I would recommend this to anyone for home or workshop. I like the fact that it is dual purpose, assorted brad nails and assorted staples. Perfect for so many things. Highly recommend this!!

Never thought I would use this as much as I have. This is a great nailer. I have used both nails and staples through it on various projects around my house. It took me a little getting use to so that I didn't mark whatever I was nailing, but with time and use I have gotten better. I even had a carpet layer use it when his nailer died. He said it was a great nailer and he really liked the dial on the back that allows you change the direction of the exhaust. And the price was great compared to every other nailer of this size.

I absolutely love this brad nailer/staple gun! It came packaged well and I have used it several times and wish I would have bought it long ago. First of all, being able to use brad nails or staples is pretty amazing in and of itself but it works really well to boot. It is lightweight but sturdy and really powerful. All this at such a great price...you just can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!

Just used it this weekend and was thoroughly impressed. Super easy to load, easy to operate, and not a single glitch after running 1000 brads through it. For such a cheap unit, this thing is just perfect for the weekend home rehab warrior like myself. So glad I purchase this.

This is a well made Nail/staple gun, it works well and comes with a 2 yr warranty. You should use a at the gun pressure control valve to fine tune the depth the nails/staples go in. it is well worth the price and the company appears to care about what they make and will stand behind it.
