These work great and last for a long while in your drink without falling apart. I was worried because I thought I had ordered the bamboo ones that I had before and when these arrived, I thought they would fall apart quickly once they were in the drink very long but they don't.

We drink smoothies everyday but hate washing the straws. These are an easy way to enjoy a straw with less guilt about the plastic waste. They don’t get soggy and don’t have a flavor. They are thick enough to enjoy a smoothie through. I do find the edge of them is a little sharp but have adapted to it.

We have looked for an alternative to plastic straws for our smoothies for a long time and these are great!! They don’t get soggy like paper straws and are better for our planet

I don't love the feeling of paper straws in my mouth, so I was worried about this veggie straw product. It didn't feel exactly like plastic, which was okay. It was smooth and sturdy enough that it didn't bother me to drink from it. And I loved not having to add another plastic straw to the world! I would buy them again for sure. Very high quality, as far as straws go.

These are the best biodegradable straws I've ever tried. I used them in both cold and hot drinks and never did they get soggy or melt. Unlike paper straws, they also don't fizz up and overflow soda. But the reason I know it's the best is because there is zero taste contamination of the drink. When I first used this, I was amazed why drinks tasted so much better and thought my taste buds were just sharpening. But when I tried to use some leftover straws from another brand, I realized it's the straw that affected the taste. This one doesn't at all. I think it will be my go-to straw now for all of the above reasons. I deducted one star because 1.) I wish it would just be slightly cheaper to be somewhat comparable to regular straws (that cost about $2), so that the transition could be more sustainable and affordable for many, and 2.) I am not sure if this was sanitarily packed well enough. It came in just a carton box with a plastic inside that easily ripped during transit (maybe it was biodegradable, so it was weak, but considering they were able to make sturdy straws...) and because the carton box got squished, I opened to find some straws touching the Amazon packing envelope. Considering that most people don't wash disposable straws before using them, I suggest to more sanitarily package the straws so they don't open up in the package during transit. I had to rinse mine in water before storing them in my kitchen cabinet.
