Its say 5000 pulses, but picture shows 1000. How many pulses has this refil?

It's 1000 pulses don't waste your money. If I had to do it over I'd buy the $80 one. The thing does work but you need many treatments you might as well invest in one that will last you.

Yes it is safe but I would recommend the first few sessions to start it on the lowest setting because it can be painful...qork your way up and no hair will not grow back darker....in fact, it will make it more fine and softer. The darker the hair and skin, the better the results

Does it work on gray hair?

No, gray hair does not have the color pigment needed for the light to pick it up, travel to the root and "zap it". There is a lot of info on the company's website which explains which hair colors will and will not work with Flash&Go, and why. My Mom borrowed mine to try on her hairline on the back of her neck, and it worked perfect on the brown hairs, but did not work at all on the few gray hairs she had mixed in.
