DSO2D15 Digital Storage Oscilloscope 150MHz 1GSa/s 8M,2 Channel,2CH+1CH with Signal Source

Good, all round, storage scope. It has some protocol analysis for CANBUS and i2c which I was wanting. I haven't tested that part but it just does what it says on the can. This package was nice because it is a turnkey setup so you don't still need to find probes and other necessary pieces. The price was also quite comfortable. From other reviewers it appears that your mileage may vary. Mine is a 2024 version and the problems in the older reviews don't seem to be there now. I also don't do much fiddling around in the software. I'm a user. If it doesn't do a particular function or has errors, I would,most likely, not update the software because I know many updates can break more than they fix. I tend to work using what does work rather than pine over what isn't there. Years ago we had a saying where I used to work on German equipment; "nicht gefingerpoken". Don't fiddle around without having a necessary reason to work on equipment. My opinions and too old to change them now.

My Device has the latest Hantek updates. I came from a background of several analog oscilloscopes and thus this is my first digital scope. Lots to learn and get used to..Yes it has some cool features that I did not test yet. Liked the user layout, and so far had only one freeze.Not sure what what I did to cause it. Liked the single sweep function to determined circuit startup features. I did check the rise time and it is close to rated 2.3 to 3 nano seconds. Used a home made schmidt trigger generator to get an idea of the approximate rise time. The generator was seen on you tube from W2aew . The FFT feature proved to be almost useless. Perhaps it was me, but I used and much memory as I could. BUT, this is a entry scope and not an expensive full featured scope. All in all this is a great way for anyone to get a background into the world of digital oscilloscopes. Kudos to HanteK for making scope with reasonable specifications at a low user cost.

This review is for the Hantek DSO2D15 Digital Storage Oscilloscope 150MHz. 4-24. This is a very nice machine. Unfortunately, it was more scope than I really needed. A lot of research was done before this scope was purchased, and personally, I felt that this scope was the best value for the dollar. Now, if your looking for a lab grade scope, well, what are you doing looking at 200 dollar scopes? On the other hand, if you need a good scope, at a reasonable price, for your personal bench, you really not look any further... IMO.

Performed well for what I paid for it. Decent quality of the probes and leads that came with it. Was able to get all the waveforms and measurements I needed working on power supply designs. The integral "meters" are nice, need to figure out if I can display just the ones I want though. Was able to capture both high-frequency noise and slow "single-shot" timing in seconds without having to study the manual. It accepted and stored screen shots on a FAT-32 USB Thumb Drive with no problem. I gave it 4-stars instead of 5 because it radiates quite a bit of RFI, to the extent that it "jammed" the FM radio I have on a shelf above it. I haven't analyzed its RFI frequency spectrum yet, but if your work is in that frequency band it may be a show-stopper for you.

Soy nuevo en esto de los osciloscopios, asi que no puedo dar una opinión de conocimiento sobre estos equipos. Lo que si veo, es que la calidad del equipo parece muy buena. Las sondas no tanto... Viene muy completo con todo lo necesario para usarlo. Lo que si recomiendo para estos osciloscopio, es actualizar el firmware, es muy facil, se descarga desde la web de hantek el archivo, se lo pasa a un pendrive y se conecta al puerto y en menu hay una opción para actualizarlo; lo único que hay q tener en cuenta es de que no debe estar conectado el cable usb trasero q va a la pc.

No manual. Defective probes (both) no screw for frequency compensation and bonnets can’t be removed. I can solve both of these but that’s not the point. This is another example of poor Chinese quality systemic to their fulfillment processes. I hope all of the functions operate as expected.

It a nice technical looking scope, however that's about it. Lots of refresh hesitation when monitoring video and analog inputs. Refresh cannot keep up. When enabling persistence in X/Y mode, all the data on the display becomes fragmented and goes off screen. With no probes connected, there is noise displayed riding on both traces. This gives false/positives on weak signals. When rotating the vertical gain or horizontal freq knobs fast, the values are not updated. Need to rotate slow. User manual has lots of errors, so you need to do trial-n-error to set configurations. When switching between modes, the scope locked up three times, need to power cycle reboot to clear.

Lo compré para mis clases, el único aspecto mejorable es que pudiera ser mas barato dadas las varias versiones que son.

Hace todo lo que promete, muy versátil, para usos universitarios prácticas y cosas así.
