Great for healing wounds
These are great for the small wounds I get on a scar that I have on my butt (long story but I'm in a wheelchair). They stay on well and are mostly water resistant. I highly recommend for wounds.

Perfect as a cushion for my elbow
This may not be the typical use since I do not have a wound, but I fractured my elbow a few years ago, had surgery with hardware, and it stays sore and swollen and I am always bumping it. I can't even lean on that elbow or sit at a dinner table and rest my arm on the table. A rehab nurse told me to try these and I am very happy I did. It's easy for me to put on myself even though not exactly made for an elbow. If I want to move it a little, it peels away easily.I can leave this on for a few days (no wound) and it doesn't come off in the shower OR get soggy. It doesn't tear my skin when I take it off in the shower and let warm water run over it while I am pulling it off.It blends in with my skin tone so that it's not real obvious. That said, if I am really going out somewhere where it matters, I take it off.It provides so much cushion that now I don't even think about it when I lean on my elbow. I don't even feel it.BUT: if you have a wound - and I say this as a nurse - the non-adhesive square that covers a wound is non adherent and I can tell it would have excellent absorption if you have any drainage or bleeding. As a further bonus, whether or not this happens for anyone else, the swelling in my elbow went down so that it looks like a normal elbow. Maybe it is lightly compressive but more likely it's just that the covering keeps me from irritating my elbow constantly.

Used for tail bone Pressure Sore with incontinence
What I liked is the effective sealing against incontinence leaks which meant that I could wait longer between re-bandaging. Even this size was a little too large for what was needed but is great cushioning against pressure because pain when moving was greatly lessened. This is the third day and there is already visual healing. What I do not like is that the white portion on the second bandage sticks to the wound. The only difference that I know of between the first and second bandage is a lesser amount of the carrier solid Virgin Coconut Oil and drops of essential oil mix used. Cleaning the skin where the border will be attached is very important for effective sealing. The white section of the third one has sticking to the wound as well.

Adhesive not reliable
These dressings are soft and reasonably thick, but the adhesive didn’t stay attached to the skin as long as I expected. Even after drying the skin properly and applying skin prep, I wasn’t as happy with this brand as others I’ve tried.

Perfect
Bought for a friend who needed a wound covered in a delicate place. Lasted well. Helped her heal faster she thinks because of the cushion.
