Peel Bond works great
Top notch wood treatment primer for pre paint. I used this on 2 exterior wood door trims. 1 door trim should have been replaced but I didn't have time. I prepared wood by using wood patch and sander on rough parts. Sealed it with this and the paint came out amazing.

DOES NOT DRY CLEAR!
"Clear", as stated, HAH. It is absoutely the milkiest clear I've ever seen. I am very disappointed. XIM has made exceptionally good products for many years. I used their automotive bonding XIM and loved it. That's why I chose this brand and because they stated that it is clear. As I stated before, disappointed.

Does not dry clear
I bought this “clear” bonding primer to use over granite to provide a good bond for a clear coat epoxy cure. Having a clear primer was necessary as I was not changing the look of the granite, only providing a clear coat to smooth surface of the granite and give it a durable finish. The primer itself is white when put on. Much to my disappointment when I went back to check it the primer had dried as hazy white - definitely not clear. I was also recommended this product to provide a good bonding on the polished granite surface (recommended for this by the Epoxy company). I was able to use my nail to remove the primer after it was dry so not sure if the bonding will work very well. The surface I am using it on is a sealed polished granite surface sanded with 120 grit. It would have been better to rough up the surface with 60-80 grit but would have left the counter surface scratched looking which would defeat the purpose of maintaining the granite character under a clear coat of epoxy. Would not recommend if using on a surface that you want to look the same before and after application. Definitely not clear.

Expensive for just one quart
Very expensive primer! Note this is just ONE quart and not a gallon. With the high price I automatically thought it was a gallon when I purchased it. It was my mistake.

Exterior primer supreme
This is this is the best exterior primer that I've ever used and I've done a lot of painting. I highly recommend it.

Great Product
Worked great. Put in a new PVC lamppost which house paint would not adhere to...Using the bonding primer, the paint adhered and looks great, dries fast and no weather affects it
