Finally! Dimmable LED bulbs that actually work!
This is a review for the BR20. I just moved into a house with a track light with LED bulbs in the living room. They are on a dimmer. The previous owners had put a bunch of mismatched bulbs that were annoying me to no end. I tried replacing them with several different types and brands of bulbs, most of which I bought from Home Depot, but none of them worked. They all either flickered or did really strange things like turn on with a very dim glow even when the switch was off. I experimented with a bunch of different combinations and was only able to get them to "work" with a bunch of mismatched bulbs. I now know why the previous owners had a mish-mash of mismatched bulbs.I did a lot of reading and researching and learned that LED bulbs can be extremely finicky especially when they are used in circuits with several bulbs on the same circuit, and even worse when that circuit is on a dimmer. After some research, these seemed to be the most promising so even though they are a little expensive I decided to give them a try.I got them yesterday, installed them this morning, and I a thrilled to report that they work perfectly. I now have all the bulbs matching, they don't flicker, they don't glow when the circuit is off, they dim perfectly, basically they work exactly as they're supposed to.The warm white is also perfect for a living room. The track light has six of them so they can get very bright if needed but with the warm white color they do not get uncomfortable.

Love the WarmGlow feature of these bulbs
These bulbs have the wonderful Philips WarmGlow feature, where the color temperature gets warmer as you dim them. What’s the benefit of this? They almost perfectly mimic incandescent light bulbs.I had originally purchased Sunco bulbs instead of these. They were fine at full brightness, but they didn’t have the WarmGlow feature, but worse, they buzzed when dimmed. The Philips bulbs do not hum at all, even when dimmed.

Excellent LED bulbs if you enjoy warm light
I installed 8 of these throughout my house, and they work great. They have a pleasing warm glow that is comparable to incandescent lights. I was worried that switching to LED would ruin the warmth of light in my house, but there was no issue. I really like these bulbs.Pros:• Warm color• Dimmable• Very quiet (see note below)Cons:• At the lowest dimming level, these are somewhat brighter than incandescent. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but you may notice this if you dim your lights super low.Regarding noise, almost all of the lights in my house produce a faint buzzing noise when they are dimmed. This happens for both incandescent and LED bulbs. It's not too noticeable, but I always pay attention to it when buying new bulbs, because I don't want to make the problem worse. I found that these new Philips LED bulbs are actually more quiet than incandescent, so that was nice. However, one of the new bulbs make a buzzing noise that was louder than most. I installed that one in a laundry room where I didn't really care about the sound.

Great LED replacements for incandescent Philips 223115
I bought these after returning another set which were incandescent but turned out not to be the soft diffused face as my current dimmable incandescents. And since I could not order incandescents in Cali, I decided to try these Dimmable LED replacements. Glad to say that I am happy with their performance... I have posted pics for others in the same situation...See PICTURES. LEFT is LED and RIGHT is regular INCANDESCENT.At full and partial brightness (first 3 pics) - the LED does great! Its not easy to tell them apart. The LED one is slightly brighter. But at lowest dimmer setting (fourth pic) - the LED is completely off while the regular one has some glow left. Not a problem except if you want a small amount of glow then you have to set the dimmer very carefully (this is why I removed 1 star) to just above zero setting. (last 2 pics)But this is good enough for me to transition to LEDs as my incandescents die out... :)

Finally flicker free
After running out of incandescent bulbs I started using dimmable LED's in a 6 light array, and that is where the problems began. Despite having a dimmer switch that was meant for such bulbs, ant bulbs I tried would always flicker at the low or high end of the brightness.Until I bought these. They have been rock solid, no flickering at any brightness setting. As an added bonus, the entire 6 bulb array uses less power than a single incandescent.
