Working for Potelco on PSE property. The 350 UG wire does not fit in the 350 stripper. Probably works fine for other wire brands. Just wanted to try it out. Can’t leave a bad review if I wasn’t able to use the product. Wanted others to be aware when ordering.

Tool easily peels cables with cross link polyethylenes insulation jackets. Works so well it’s easy to peel off too much insulation! And that’s the only small issue, it’s hard to see how much bare cable has been exposed. Otherwise a must have tool when wiring with large gauge cable. Some reviewers described having to use the next larger hole 3/0 for 2/0 cable etc. Yes, it’s a tight fit pushing cable into the correct guage hole for peeling but that way the peeling knife digs right in and cuts the insulation off cleanly right down to the wire. Totally recommend this tool. Update: 1st review involved 2/0 cable for powering an outbuilding. Current project is running power to a house with 4/0 cable. While the tool peeled 2/0 cable fine, the 4/0 cable would not go in the 4/0 hole and had to use the next larger size hole, the 250 MCM hole. Got the job done, still recommend the tool.
