I’ve been using a bug relief zapper that I’d purchased from boots previously. It seemed to take the edge off initially, but would make the itching worse.I didn’t want to spend the money on this device and it not work, however, it’s insane. I place the device on the bite and press the button once. It zaps the bite for three seconds and it’s rather intense. To begin with, the pain is unbearable and something you just need to come to terms with, because this device is the only thing that truly works for my bites. After using it a few times the pain is not that bad, but I would definitely NOT recommend for children.I’d had persistent, very large, itchy bites for 5 days. After using this, they were gone overnight.

Work fine for my husband but not too much on me, I have to itch despite using it

Not sure how this is suitable for children when my husband and I cannot handle the burning/stinging of the heating head ourselves! Wish I could return this but missed the refund window.

I initially bought this item a few years ago but it stopped working. As it had proved quite useful, i decided to buy it again. However, despite only using it once, after 2 months it stopped working.Despite all the good reviews, it seems there are many people that have bought this item and it is consistently having the same fault.Look elsewhere!
