Good quality cheaper alternative mats.

Really great value for money. The mats I purchased have taken a battering from cutting thicker cardboard that sheds, and do appear to wash well with water to restore stickiness. The Purple mats are the stickiest of all 'strong grip' mats I have tried (these ones are definitely much too sticky for paper, or more delicate cardboards on first use). Decent longevity, though perhaps not as much use as other mats I have tried. Only drawback is that areas of the mat have lost stickiness completely where masking tape has been applied - not something I've encountered with some other versions of this product. Otherwise though, would recommend.

I got these mats because I needed a strong grip mat and thought I could probably do with another standard grip. When I used the new green one however I could barely even get the plastic off it! It’s way too strong. When I used it for vinyl it literally ripped the backing off - like when you try and peel a shop label off but only the top layer comes off. Had to use a palette knife to try and scrape it off the mat but it was near impossible. Won’t be using the green one again!!!!

Ordered late afternoon and arrived Prime delivery the next day. Great value for money at £13.99 for three - I was apprehensive about buying a non-Cricut brand, but these are excellent. They are exactly the same as the Cricut ones. I peel my vinyl off reverse by peeling the mat off and they are very bendy. Good adhesion too, slightly more than the light grip Cricut ones but not as much as the standard ones. I would definitely buy these again.

I've ordered this brand previously in a mixed set and was happy with them. Since my standard grip mat is the one I use most often I decided to go with a pack of just standard grip mats this time. I don't know what has changed since my last time purchasing this brand well over a year ago, but this time they are terrible! I've just taken a fresh one out of the pack to use for the first time, currently on the third cut on it and the adhesive has already lost enough of it's tackiness that I'm having to use masking tape to keep my vinyl down despite using my brayer on it with as much pressure as I could apply. Even during my second cut it failed to hold the vinyl in place which resulted in it folding over when I was loading my Cricut. This brand used to be a brilliant value alternative to the much more expensive Cricut mats, now they're a waste of money.

I bought these instead of the usual branded ones, just so that I could try them and they were a bit cheaper. The mat seemed very sticky but not sure if it was stickier than the Cricut ones. I’ll be interested to see if the stickiness lasts as long or longer. At the moment, I’m really happy with them.

Way better value than cricut brand, I have been using them for a couple months, they clean easy with soap and water and keep their stick. They are super durable, a much better alternative to cricut brand!!! I have use permanent vinyl, htv, cardstock and leather without any issue!!!

UPDATE: The company reached out to me, and have worked on the mats and the problem with the stickiness and sent me more mats. I have to say that they did a good job fixing the problem. It was very nice of them to reach out to me even though it has been a while since my last purchase. I have used the new light mat and it works so much better!! So I came back to update my review. I only wished more companies would work on their products and help the customer out like this company as did. Thanks again. I hope this helps someone out. I will be buying again in the future from this company. Lisa S. and John T. I won't be buying this again. My boyfriend bought me this set a while back when I first got my Cricut maker. They worked for a while. I have started making earrings to sell. Well I ordered this set again in June. The first day when I tried to make earrings with faux leather. The sheet completely stuck to the mat and when I tried to take it off the glue from the mat was stuck to the leather. Now that mat is completely useless, and I don't know if I will be able to get the glue off of the faux leather either. I said, Well let me try another mat and hopefully it will be better. NO!! I was wrong. All the mats are completely useless. I don't know what happened to the mats or this company. But they might be cheaper, but in the long run it will save money to buy a better brand. Save yourself some money and a headache from trying to do any crafts with these poor quality mats. I hope this helps someone. Thanks for reading. I am now trying to find something better!!
