No error messages but I'd like to know it's working. Do I stick by my exhaust pipe on my car to check? You can "zero it out" but... ? And it was recommended by the fire dept as an inexpensive and accurate alternative to First Alert and the other major brand

Great and does the job. Perfect replacement.

Had to replace our old unit of a different major brand, since it finally expired after 7 years. That was it's lifespan. Wasn't fond of the old unit; it was difficult to read and test, and I never really knew if it was working properly. Searched for a while for a new unit that lasted longer, was easy to install, easy to set up, easy to read and test, easy to replace batteries, was compact, was well reviewed by others, and one that looked good, since it'd be on a main living space room wall for many years. This unit fit the bill in every single area. I am very pleased with this unit and I feel safer now, since it reads well and functions so easily. Happy to have found this one that lasts 10 years and looks nice on my wall.

I can only reveiw one area that is presented-that of installation. Extremely easy to install when following instructions. As for ease of reading- I have experienced no instance of the presence of carbon monoxide so as a result, I have never had an instance to read the readout! The same is true concerning the accuracy- how would I know?I am pleasd with the product as I am confident it is working as designed. It did sound the proper beeps and flashed the proper lighting as described by the instructions on startup.

When you have a family you can never be too careful. That includes smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and even carbon monoxide detectors. This is a very reliable and accurate carbon monoxide detector. It's easy to install and comes with all the hardware needed to properly install. It's easy to read digital display let's you know if the levels are safe. The carbon monoxide alarm is very loud and effective. It has a test button to make sure it's responding well and the batteries are good. Great value.

This worked very well and durable

I needed smoke detectors for my new home and came across these. I was not looking for a combination unit but at this price point it was hard to pass this deal up. They are very sleek and compact and install very easy with the exception that they were difficult to get back on after mounting the base to your wall/ceiling. My recommendation is to place a piece of painters tape were the two sections meet before you take them apart for mounting.

I really love the design and it was easy to install. I love the functionality being able to see the amount of carbon monoxide in the air. But I have not tested it against anything like Auto exhaust yet. I will update my review later.
