Bought this for my 4 year old to have a “quiet time” activity at grandmas. Comes with heaps of beads, of all different colors.Also comes with oversized plastic craft tweezers which helped my little one pick up and position the beads.The only downside is the beads are all jumbled up together, so you have to spend some time separating them in order to make a design. I set out some dixie cups and separated the colors as my son made his designs, and it was actually pretty relaxing and a good opportunity to sit and “chat” with him. It would take a long time to really sort all the beads though.

I got a bunch of sets for my girls age 4 and 6 but of all of those this was the definite favorite!! My girls really enjoyed this kit and especially loved copying the patterns on the box. My only tiny complaint is that they should have put those patterns on a paper inside the box. We had to cut the pictures off the box so they could keep them as they like to try and duplicate them. Very cute set though and it had a lot of boards for the price. Definitely recommend if your kids like pearler beads. This would be a great gift for a 4-8 year old.

I used to do perler beads as a kid into my teenage years I had a whole tote full of them but ended up losing them in a move :/ so now I have started to slowly buy them again so I can share the fun in creating with my kids. These containers are perfect for beginners. it's a fun project. Great product!

Perler beads are a National treasure for parents I tell you! My kids have sat for hours on numerous occasions just making so many Perler bead creations and never seem to get tired of it. They’re an easy craft they can do on their own, even my four year old has no difficulties. You will have to clean some off the floor, you will have to iron them for your kids nonstop when they’re all ready, and you will end up with a million of the little melted creations everywhere! But it’s worth it and my kids love it :)

These are great! Good price, and fun patterns Mt kids really enjoyed. Good color mix for other creations as well. I would recommend!
