My favorite utility knife. Short handle with retractable blade allows me to slip this in and out of my back pocket quickly. It's small enough that it will always lay at the bottom of my back pocket - other longer styled knives always seem to lay diagonal and bobble out of my pocket when crouching or climbing ladders. This knife is a one-handed quick draw solution to all of my job's cutting needs. My blade is about 8 years old bought around 2009 or so. I bought this as a back up for my toolkit but the original is still going strong. Easy blade replacement by pulling up on the tab when blade is extended. Only a few screws began to come loose after about 7 years. Thread lock and a good tightening fixed that. Best knife. If my company ever created a policy of using only company provided knives I would have to quit. After using this knife I couldn't possibly go back to those cheap clunky behemoth knives they pass out to the new hires.

Far more useful than what my job supplies. Love this.

A great sport knife

I have had a Stanley razor knife for many years up until I misplaced it easy to use. When you're used to one type of razor knife I would recommend. But the saying is when you can't find one you buy it and then the other appears so now I have two. It's very durable and very functional. Price is Right

It's a well constructed knife, but too difficult to open and close

So far so good—looks like this is built to last. Cuts well and ergonomic to handle, I particularly like the compactness. However, insertion and extrication of the blade is tricky and a bit awkward—you could get cut if not careful. The tradeoff also with the compact size is you don’t have space provision for a spare blade.All that said, this is actually a very effective cutter—the best in its class I've ever tried. Something about the ergonomic design makes it cut super-sharply and smoothly even with the same standard blade as others.
