I can hardly believe that these are still around and seem to be the same recipe as the ones I had at school when I was a kid. How many things can you say that about, lol? For the record, I'm talking about having had these back in the very early 80s. I loved them then, because they'd heat them up and we'd get them with cold milk in the morning. Pretty impressive for a public school.I was concerned about making sure they'd arrive without being out of refrigeration for too long so I would only order these during the cold weather months. But they shipped and arrived within about 2 days, which is impressive, with free prime shipping. UPS delivers them and when they arrived I put 10 in the fridge and the rest into the freezer.They're small, so you won't be going overboard having these as a breakfast with milk (so retro, lol) or as a snack or dessert, but they are still really lovely. These are the only cake donuts I've ever had which have a good texture and flavor, especially when you toss them into the toaster oven for a few minutes. These are incredible hot out of the oven.My husband had never had or heard of these and I wasn't sure if he'd be on board but he really likes them as well.At this price, with the free shipping, they're about 50 cents each, which is pretty remarkable. They're all in good condition, no crumpled or moldy items to be seen, and were well protected in a sturdy, well-sealed box.If you're curious and have never had them, they're just sweet enough and not over the top. If you're like me and have fond memories of these as a kid, they're just the same. :)

I grew up eating these in Elementary school!These brought back so many memories of when I would walk the lunch like with my brother and sisters, the donut would be nice and hot, with a sausage link, and I would have a side of orange juice .... What a nostalgic moment.Packaging was great, sealed tight, I froze upon arrival, and they lasted a week for us in home. Each time was like taking a trip back down memory lane. ☺️☺️

The donuts arrived hot although the box said to keep frozen. Only opened one, it was disgusting. Unfortunately not eligible for return or refund so I wasted $50. Will never order again and do not recommend.
