Does it have a good vanilla scent ?

No. Even though the bottle says it smells like shea butter and warm vanilla, this body wash has very little scent at all! I personally don’t smell any vanilla OR shea butter. On a scale of 1-10 where 10 is the most fragrance ever and 1 is fragrance free, I give this a 2 or 3. It’s a very, VERY light scent.

Is this soap free like the Dove bars?

The Dove Beauty Bar is formulated at the neutral pH of 7.0 and is milder and more hydrating than ordinary soap with a pH of 9-11. All other Dove products are formulated at a neutral pH.
