Stridex XL Face Body Pads, 90 Count

I love these Stridex wipes for a few reasons.1. The wipes have a textured side that exfoliates. Everyone needs to exfoliate and these wipes are a quick method to do just that!!2. Turn the wipe over and use the non textured side to cleanse your face and sweep away dead skin cells.3. These Stridex wipes are much larger than their competitors and one wipe does my entire face. With other brands I have to use 2 or 3 daily, so I’m saving money too!!4. The ingredients open clogged pores, they leave my skin looking fresh.5. These wipes help to prevent breakouts. The salicylic acid has an exfoliating like action and is my preferred method for fighting acne. I use these everyday and I haven’t had a break out in months.6. The price is amazing. When you consider these wipes act as both a cleanser and exfoliate you are getting two products in one.7. They are quick and easy to use. I’ll admit that sometimes I don’t have time to wash my face and layer on products. When I’m in a hurry I use these to clean my face before putting on moisturizer.As always, with any salicylic acid product, do not let the liquid drip onto clothing or towels as it can leave a bleached spot on fabrics. Try them, they will change your skincare routine for the better!!!

I tell everyone with acne about these pads they are INCREDIBLE. I keep one in my car, bathroom, bedroom, gym bag. I have 4 on hand at all times so I don't run out. There is no product like it. One side is Very scratchy and Textured and perfect for back and body, even after shower the textured side comes back dingy. The pds are large enough to do back and chest with one pad. Other salicylic pads don't care you would need to use 4 pads. It really helps subdue acne with consistent use. PLEASE never stop making these! The only thing that could be better is if they offered a fragrance free option.

I bought these to help with my recent breakouts around my chin area. I read reviews before buying and I do agree that you should be careful with the abrasive side. It does feel quite rough but if you do not apply a lot of pressure it works really good! I break out around my chin area and I use the rough side first. It feels better already after 1 use. The smell isn't bad either. I read a lot of reviews about it smelling good like grapefruit which it does but it does have a medicated smell to it as well. It does not bother me though. I'm hoping to see a difference in my skin after a few weeks of using this product. I do like the larger pads.Also, my face gets pretty oily and this got rid of that after using the pad. I recommend a good moisturizer after about 15 minutes or so otherwise your face might dry out. I will update as I use more. As for now, this is something I will definitely purchase again. Thank you!

I buy these because you get the same 2% SA as the red tubs, but the red tubs are about $5 for 55 pads while these are about $5 for 90 pads that are larger in diameter.The rough side SUCKS. I strongly recommend against intentionally using the scrubby side as it is painful and WILL leave scratches all over you if you use it like you might any normal exfoliating device (dry brushes, files, scrubby mitts, etc.); the only place I imagine it not hurting is maybe your heels if you let them callus up. If you use it very gently it might be alright but it never felt genuinely good to me. Please remember that the main benefit of acid exfoliants is their ability to evenly and relatively gently exfoliate instead of mechanically damaging and hurting your skin. There's a reason why so many people recommend against using those old apricot seed scrubs and whatnot. There is at least some merit to things like dry brushing by contrast, but even dry brushing is fairly gentle compared to this.The smooth side is pretty normal. The main issue is that the pad is prone to curling and sticking to itself, the grippy side will bite into itself and make the pad difficult to use (and it might even unravel sometimes if you try pulling it apart) For my purposes, that's just a little annoying but I can work with it if it means I get nearly double the pads for the same price.It is quite drying, but exfoliants like this often are. I like to use it as an exfoliant all over my body (never my face, 2% SA is too strong for my face but it might be fine for others). Usually I do it a bit before a shower, and at the end of applying the pad to wherever I want, I use the remaining "juice" on my armpits. This kills off bacteria that makes you stink (not permanently) and exfoliates nicely at the same time. I like to take a shower within a reasonable amount of time to wash away whatever it works on, as well as the SA itself so it isn't sitting on my skin forever.

Very good to have for blemishes. Large diameter pads that clean up your face or neck and smell like grapefruit. I love the smell.

I'm a big fan of Stridex and of the active ingredient, salicylic acid, which is a beta-hydroxy acid. It's at 2%, which is the maximum OTC percentage. I'm able to use salicylic acid daily, without notable irritation, but I don't have sensitive skin and I make sure to follow with a gentle moisturizer after application, once my face is dry.I've used them on both body and face but I mostly use them on body now. Love the "scratchy" side on my legs and upper arms especially, it feels so refreshing. If you are sensitive at all, don't use the rough side of the pad. The other side is smooth.I admit it smells good, but if I could change one thing about this product, I'd say to change the scent, as many people have sensitivities to citrus, grapefruit in particular. I think the lighter scent of the other Stridex pads, like the ones in the red box, would be less troublesome for more people.Very convenient and easy to use. I hope they never stop making these pads in this larger size. 💙
