Will this cleaner work on old stains that are not from a pet? Thank you!

This product worked great on heavy traffic areas and other small stains on the carpets. I was even able to remove black eyeliner from the carpet. I did not buy this product because I had problems with pet stains, I wanted something different. It worked better than any of the other carpet cleaners I have tried in the past. It worked great and I will not go back to the others.

Does this cleaner have enzymatic properties? Or do I need to use a separate enzymatic cleaner first?

This cleaner does not have enzymatic properties because enzymes will be destroyed during the carpet cleaning process (the machine). Enzymes work best when they are left alone to work for a period of time. Carpet Miracle has an environmentally responsible formula that is biodegradable and is earth, kid, and pet friendly. Required a second step of rinsing with clean hot water or can I just clean carpet when using a steam cleaner?

It is best to rinse, or steam the carpet with just plain water (without solution) as the final step. This will prevent any "dirt attraction", by removing 100% of the solution out of the carpet.
