Excellent book on real estate development. Describes the entire development process in well-written detail peppered with examples and "takes" from successful developers. Describes the steps from idea generation, zoning and feasibility, all the way through to sales/leasing and management of the completed building.

This book from the Urban Land Institute is one of the best ones I've seen that really touches on all aspects of real estate development. The finance sections were particularity helpful for someone with no formal finance training or education (such as myself).

Good primer in the processes of Real Estate Development, nice coverage of RE Finance in particular. I found the text to be a bit bloated but that is typical of text books. I noticed the price has come down, $125 was a bit pricey.
