I first came across this lotion when my mother was having me surgery and I was staying the night with her and asked for toiletries so I could take a shower. When I saw the lotion I was like this is going to be non scented and probably not very moisturizing! However, I was very surprised that it was a light vanilla smelling scent and this lotion is super super moisturizing! I have very dry skin especially in the winter but in the summer as well! I use this every time after I take a shower and my skin stays hydrated until the next morning when I take another shower actually stays moisturized longer than that but I take a shower every morning. I also purchased the two bottles of the 4 oz of the same lotion for my purse so I can use as a hand lotion because I just love this lotion so much! before this might go to was the Gold Bond healing lotion but yes I have since moved on to this lotion! It's not bad for $9 you get a 16 oz bottle and it's a pump bottle which I love because it's much easier than having to open up a cap when you're trying to put lotion on after a bath or shower! I would give this a try even if you don't want to buy the big bottle I would try the 4 oz squeeze bottle that you can get two for under $5 here on Amazon! I just also want to add that I have tried basically every lotion out there and nothing compares to this!

I have a lot of allergies triggered by scents so I have to be really careful with personal care products. They often bring on an asthma attack — not fun!However, this lotion does not trigger an allergic reaction. It has a very light vanilla/citrus/herbal scent that dissipates quickly. And it works great! I have problems with dry skin especially in the winter, and this totally takes if the problem. I started using it at the recommendation of several nurses at my local clinic who swear by it. They have to wash their hands many times a day, and they said this was the best product to prevent redness and chapped skin.Definitely works for me! Will continue to purchase when needed. Solid 5-star product!

I love this stuff! I'm an RN, and my hospital uses this line of soap and lotion. I goggled it and found it here on Amazon. It's better to use these medical lotions because they're designed better: they don't grow bacteria like commercial lotions will. I attended a class taught by an infection control nurse who said putting commercial lotion on after washing your hands is equivalent to not washing your hands at all: you're just putting bacteria back on your hands! So I stick to this stuff. And it smells great! It has a cookie/vanilla sent going on.

I own a 4oz bottle of this and it has been the only lotion my face won't get to oily or break out with. My dad got that bottle from a hospital. I ran out so I was glad to find out that Amazon had them. Bottle was delivered and the scent is terrible. My old 4oz bottle doesn't have vanilla in the ingredients list. The 16 oz new one does. The scent for me in incredibly strong and hasn't gone away after 20 minutes. I'm really dissapointed and really hope I can find one with out the vanilla scent again. My 4oz bottle doesn't say anything along the lines of scent free or anything. The label brand and everything is the same besides the ingredients list. On the Amazon description it says that it includes sandal wood and it's not listed on my ingredient list. Really disappointed.

Okay you guys, so my fiancé got into a really serious motorcycle accident and was in the hospital for 6 months. He got hit and ended up with a TON of open wounds on his body. The nurses gave us an 8 oz tube of this lotion to help moisturize and close up his wounds. After a while he required different care for his wounds and I ended up keeping the rest of the tube, and I promise you guys, I have not used a better lotion in my life. The scent is great, very light vanilla (I'm SO biased with vanilla scent), and I know they say you are supposed to use non-scented lotion on your face, but whatever. I have a pretty normal skin care routine at night: wash my face with a gentle cleanser, toner, castor oil, and seal it with lotion. The one time that I used this lotion before bed, I woke up the next morning and my make up literally was like butter gliding on my face. Mind you, I'm a bartender and my average shifts are 10 hour shifts so I wear full coverage makeup ALL day. This lotion is seriously like life changing. I used to use Aveeno because come on, Jennifer Aniston is old, sponsers Aveeno, and her face looks like a baby's butt, but honestly I havent touched that lotion in MONTHS. If you are looking for an all around lotion to soften your skin and allow you to have a natural glow with or without makeup, you guys need to give this lotion a try. I mean they use it in hospitals for a reason. It's freakkkking amazing.

Was introduced to this product by our local Hospice - they use an enormous number of Medline Remedy products for their patients. They kindly left a smaller tube of this lotion on the med cart for staff (I work in an RCFE) and I was impressed by how well this stuff worked without being greasy. I've been buying it off Amazon for months now. It's pricier than the cocoa butter lotions I'd been using, but definitely worth it.

I am a nurse and many institutions are using the Remedy line now. It's highly recommended by wound care nurses as the product to use for skin care. Medical staff are constantly washing their hands (hopefully) or using the drying out/high alcohol content hand sanitizers which constantly dry skin out. Once I tried Remedy, I have not had to look for another moisturizing product. It works head to toe and I even use a light coat on my face under makeup; it is not greasy and absorbs well.
