The color in real life is a graduated green-blue gray to a medium gray blue tone; it does not look mauve/plum at all. However, it was a better fit in my living room than the gray to plum graduation would have been anyway. I took advantage of the sale price as I already owned two Calvin Klein rugs and knew it would be excellent quality, which it was. It's the perfect color, quality and size.

You won't be disappointed.
It's different in color than the advertised picture. I thought it would be a cream changing to grey color. It's actually a light blue-grey changing to medium blue tones but still absolutely gorgeous. We always get compliments on it. We also bought another one for our bedroom in a darker color- which also turned out to be bluer than the advertised picture but equally gorgeous. The quality is plush and rich. You won't be disappointed.
