We love it! When we have company, everyone wants to try it. The colors make unique and beautiful sandscapes. It looks and feels quality and works well so far. Shake or flip it to create a different result every time. It does take time to allow the sand to fall and that's part of the fun. This is a modern version of the "magic window" we had growing up. Would make a nice gift too.

It works as described ad is a pretty addition to my work desk.

Fun and esthetically pleasing but there is too many bubbles I think. The sand keeps getting trapped at the top

What syringe r u all talking about? I opened the item, flipped it upside down, and it formed the shapes on its own. I didn’t have to do anything. Beautiful

I've been fiddlin' with this for over 10 hrs and still can't get consistent results. I've been adjusting the amount of air, but that's not the whole story. With the same volume of air, I can get it to dump instantly or not move at all, it's dependent on the size of the bubbles and how they're distributed. If I shake it vigorously and make lots of small bubbles, I can get it to completely stop the sand flow by evenly distributing them across the bottom of the sand. If they are larger bubbles, with the same volume of air, it's hard to completely block the entire bottom of the sand line and the sand falls really quickly, eventually just dumping. It's also important to start w/ the sand on the bottom with an perfectly straight top. If not, the part that is projecting will just breach the bubbles and dump. I think the fact that it's 12" makes it harder to get the bubbles evenly distributed evenly across the bottom of the sand line. Maybe a smaller one would be easier?

Bought this as a white elephant gift for an office Christmas party. Person that received the gift seemed happy with it. Makes a great desk decor.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Never worked and smelled hazardous! Returned for a refund and only got a partial refund due to “damage”, which is obviously the reason I returned it. Stay far away from this product.

I saw that some people suggested shaking it a bunch to create bubbles to make the sand cascade slower and it was great advice. I love how the sand turned out and now I am afraid to move it. It took me a few times to get it to work correctly , but I love the way it looks like real mountains!Bought this for my boyfriends work desk- but now we are afraid if we move it to his office - it will ruin the perfect cascade.
