It has heavier paper per sheet which makes use so much easier and more stable
I have bought and used graph paper pads for years, I find then invaluable in planning DIY and decorating / furnishing at home. I draw out a room floor plan, and sometimes also the four wall sizes with doors and windows. Then cut out scale size tables, sofas, chairs, cupboards, all furniture - and it is easy to arrange and re arrange to see what fits comfortably. We planned our kitchen, bathrooms and everything when refurbishing houses over the years. I know there is software available, but a pad and paper is so simple and portable.i have found this pad to be some of the best quality paper i have used, and the ring binding keep it together more securely

lovely pad but scale accuracy a little off
A great pad, and nice quality printing and smooth paper. A word of caution though that the accuracy of the little squares to my scale ruler isn't as good as other graph paper brands I have bought on Amazon. if however that is not a concern to you, this is a great pad which will conveniently lie flat because of the spiral binding.

Grid lines rub out!
Bought this paper to plan out a camper van interior old style (using paper rather than CAD drawing). I drew it in pencil then went over the lines in black fine tip pen and then rubbed out the pencil only to find the graph paper grid rubbed out too leaving blank areas of the page along my lines. Never had this before with graph paper, most odd and rather frustrating.

Inaccurate
Unfortunately for 'engineering' graph paper, the gradations don't agree with my engineers ruler, which is a good quality one and likely to be true. One would imagine that a true 1mm square on graph paper would be the absolute minimum required before sending this product out into the world?
