Conté à Paris 6 Count Drawing Pencils Set

I love this sketch set. The assortment is nicely varied, with graphite, black charcoal, colored charcoal, and carbonne pencils. I especially like the colors: the blacks of the carbonne, pierre noire, and charcoal are super dark and the sepia and sanguine lay on thick. The white is a little disappointing, however. They sharpen pretty well, but they don't get to a tiny point other than the graphite pencils, which is good for shading. The set generally smudges nicely with tortillions for shading purposes. I would recommend this set for sketching, especially on toned paper.

I love this set. I've purchased this, because I wanted some new products to add to my art supplies. It's a wonderful value for money. They blend well, and have a soft touch to them on paper. I haven't drawn in over 2 years, so I used these to see if I've gotten worse at my talent. I still got it.

these are the best drawing pencils ever! they’re so smooth. a bit expensive but i really get why. if you’re an artist you’ll love this. Also the grade selection is pecfect! comes with 2 2b pencils and 2 hb pencils. i wish i knew about it sooner. only downside is i dont like the wood on it. makes it hard to sharpen and causes the lead to break, get good quality sharpener.

They blend well. Only problem is they break easily. So I don’t apply too much pressure on them. Sharpening is a lil difficult.

Un bell'assortimento di matite con gradazioni diverse: due in grafite di eccellente qualità, due in fusaggine, due in carboncino, tre pierre noir che non so bene come definire ma che sono molto scure e morbide. Poi le classiche sanguigna, seppia e bianco. Ottima qualità, certo occorre una carta che le sappia valorizzare. Forse leggermente migliore dell'analogo kit Faber Castell (che già possiedo).

Soft pencils, dark pigmented in colour. Great for realism drawings

The pencils themselves are extraordinary (that's why I'm giving it 5 stars). The graphite is very smooth, even silky, and spreads evenly without leaving small marks. The variety of graphite hardness is excellent and allows for a multitude of nuances in drawing. Truly exceptional pencils. HOWEVER, the metal box arrived completely smashed, and this couldn't have happened simply by dropping it. The box was either crushed by a heavy object or someone literally stomped on it, making it difficult to open or close properly because the metal is bent. Fortunately, the pencils aren't broken, but I'll see over time if the leads inside are damaged. I don't know at what point in the delivery chain the damage occurred, but clearly, package handling is becoming increasingly careless. A quality control must be done, because it is unacceptable to pay so much and have such high quality products arrive broken. There should be two types of evaluation: one for the product itself and the other for the delivery. High-quality products shouldn't be penalized because of poor delivery.
