Great Drive, fast delivery, good price for an enterprise drive.
Fast drive. Works well. Only has 2 sets of holes, or the usual 3, can only use 1 set (two holes) to secure drive in my NAS. Fast delivery.

The label stuck on the outside - and the description say its a V5 version of this model. BUT...when plugged in - and using tools it comes up as a V4. After the last drive failed in the RAID I discovered that so called "NEW" drives from Amazon - were in some way not new (possibly recertified) and didn't carry the normal seagate multi year warranty. I have had 3 so called new drives fail in less than 2 years on a RAID of 8 drives.

Data Center drives are built far better than a standard concern consumer drive, they are often faster than consumer drives and these are very quiet.mine where used but actually never installed, zero hours.

Avoid like plague. SMART data was wiped, but FARM data shows it has been used for FOUR WHOLE YEARS!

The shipping was on tome, however, the package could be better, because it is a hard drive, exposed to hits and failure. The hdd has a noise that .. I dont know how yo describe and being honest I was expexting something quite that transfer safety with the data. If more comenta I Will continúe..
