How do i know that this authentically protects against uv rays? is there a way to test?

my glasses have photochromic lenses which would change color based on exposure of uv light. I did several tests under the hat below sunlight. my glasses changed color right away. This hat doesn't protect customers from uv light at all. The description of this product needs to be corrected.

It doesnt block any UV rays at all...its best to wear sunscreen every 2hours with this one.

There are reviews about poor uv protection with no comments from waycom. is there proof of upf 50+ and blockage of 99.9 uv rays claim?

It doesn't!!! I wore these visors for years!!!! Only to find out that they don't!! I had them tested at an optometrist office and only blocked 40% of transmits tents which is as told is worse than none due to the shade enlarging pupils...cause not only extra damage to skin but also to eyes. Who's paying for all this sun damage? ME. :( If you're looking for real protection: SóL Visors are actually UPF 50+ ANSI certified and don't pinch the side of your head or snap! Well worth the money! I promise!
