Lax-Aire 3oz (Value 3 Pack)

Excellent product for helping cats digest hairballs. Most find it palatable as well. Mine think they’re getting a treat when I give this to them.

The cats think this is a treat, but it helps to solve hairball problems. This is a repeat purchase.

We have a cat that was born a genetic dwarf. She has a growth in her colon that blocks 90% of it in one area and it is inoperable. Her super power is pulling water out of her colon, thereby ending up with poop that is the consistency of concrete. Given the growth in her colon this has been an issue since she was 2. Most of the time I keep her "soft" with an ⅛ tsp of Mir@l@x and P$yllium powder mixed in her food. They both soften and the husk fluffs it to make her want to go. Once in a while we need a little extra help. That is where the Laxaire comes in. If she hasn't gone for too many days I know that I only have to give this for two days, one inch of the Laxaire both days and we will have production. However, beware. The product starts the colon muscles and forces them to push. Once she actually did the deed her little backside continued to contract for hours afterward and I finally had to give her some pain meds, which made her sleep and thereby stopped the contractions. This was hard on the cat until she was medicated. So, it's a great product to get production but there is a cost to use it. If you have a cat that is having constipation try the stuff above and keep a check on the consistency. When nothing else works this will save the day but it may not be optimal for constant, daily use.

This is the brand my vet originally suggested. I have 2 cats - one with long hair so this helps with hairballs and one with a sensitive stomach. This seems to help keep her from getting constipation and throwing up, as well as with hairballs. I just squeeze a dose on top of their canned food and they like it up like gravy

This product is a necessity for my elderly cat. If I would give him the whole tube, he would eat the entire thing. I put a 1/2 inch portion on his evening wet food and he manages to eat the Lax-Aire off first.

Lax-Aire is an very expensive option but it seems to work. I've tried adding psyllium powder to my cat's food because it's a cheaper option and it works, but he really didn't like it. I added Lax-Aire and he would eat that off the top and leave the food. Took psyllium out and just put the Lax-Aire on top and he is one happy kitty. Licks the bowl clean. I do recommend this product in spite of the price, because he will eat it and it works. And it's a lot cheaper than runs to the vet with a backed up cat, for sure.

This is a great product if your pet has trouble. The dogs and even the cat love it and will lick it right off of our fingers and it works like a charm to lubricate and soften so that your pet has a smooth and comfortable passage. I recommend it.

My cat eats only one cat food. He’s so picky. But this taste and smell profile makes him crazy to consume it.My cat is wasting away in old age. Please make a calling supplement with the same smell/taste profile.
