Can anyone compare these to a 2t size in carter's (after washing and drying)? are they about the same, smaller, etc? thanks!

They definitely shrink over time. I’ve bought several of these shirts and some were worn way more than others. Same sized shirts were all different sizes based on how many times they were washed and dried. They actually shrink a LOT. I also wash all my clothes in cold water and low heat. I will still buy these shirts, but now I hang dry them.

Does item ship quickly?

Yes! I got mine with overnight shipping!

Are they long and do they shrink

They come down a little lower than my 20 month old’s hips. They do not shrink. 2T is still a little big on him though just for reference.

Should all the edges be cut?

Yes, that is the "natural" style and is intended. We liked the way it looked on.
