Review: I'll admit I have yet to read through this behemoth of an epic, but I believe it simply has to be said that this series is by far one of the most amazing things I have ever read. I had put off reading it for years before I decided to finally listen to all the hype and give it a try. I was in no shape or form disappointed by any part of this series. The story, the characters, the illustrations, the dialogue. All top notch. I am still dumbfounded as to how relatable the dialogue was between the two main characters and the raising of their child (I recall my wife and I had almost the same conversations word by word). I've never loved something so much that I had to fight to put down, yet also terrified to pick back up in fear of the fate of its wide cast of amazing characters. Great Book. Collector's item. But disappointed as I received the coveted title soiled with coconut oil. But, it was promptly replaced by Amazon when I raised the issue. The new item was in perfect condition. Thank you.
