Nice and soft. It seems juuust dense enough for my 15 month old to feel it under his head and not feel like he's still just lying with his head flat on the crib mattress. He still moves around a lot in his sleep, but lately (after about 2 weeks with the pillow im his crib), he's been moving back to place his head on the pillow when he wakes in the morning, which seems to be making him sleep in a little longer. He also cares enough about it to have learned the word "pillow," and mentions it (along with teddy) when I get him up in the morning.

I'm 77 and use several small pillows for propping Kindles on my lap, achy shoulders during sleep, etc. When this one arrived, my heart sank. It was in a plastic covering and flattened, and I thought it was encased in plastic. Wrong. It was simply carefully covered. As soon as I took it out of the packaging, it took shape. It's medium sized in every way. Not too high. Not too big length/width. Feels perfect under your head. Very fine fabric on the pillow and pillow case. I was so happy with it, I promptly ordered another. I don't have a toddler, but am putting both to good use. I must mention that TILLYOU also sells a beautiful pink blanket with clouds on it. Take a look at that as well. It's probably toddler sized also, perfectly shaped (this means when you wash and dry it, and fold, the edges are all even, which is a real plus in my opinion). My 35 year old granddaughter fell in love with it and took it back to use in her dorm at Drew in New Jersey. :-}
