I got a bag of this jerky as a gift a while back and while I'm not a huge fan of fish, I was pleasantly surprised that this particular kind of jerky doesn't really taste much like fish. It's sweet and tangy and has just the right level of spiciness from the sriracha sauce it's coated in. I liked it so much I bought the three pack. Every time I reach for a bag I think I'll only eat a single serving (about half the bag) but I always end up combing the insides of the empty bag, looking for morsels that have not yet been devoured.The only downside is the cost. At $4/oz, this is unlikely to become a regular snack staple. Makes sense coming as an export from Hawaii, but the cost is somewhat prohibitive. Still, the joy of savoring it makes up the difference. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes unusual jerky flavors.

I ordered the peppered 3 pack. Tastes like it is actually teriyaki that has been peppered. I’ve made a lot of beef jerky in my time as there are only a select few brands that I actually like. They could bring the salt content up a touch and definitely could bring the pepper content up as well. Needs a little more pepper for my taste. When I make beef jerky I use soy sauce, louisiana hot sauce, and I pepper it very heavily on one side once I have laid it out on the tray. I don’t use any added salt other than the soy sauce and my jerky seems to be saltier.Please don’t get me wrong, this stuff is damn good! I would never have thought that Tuna would make such a good jerky. I wonder if you could take a cheaper fish like tilapia and do something similar? I’ll definitely order again.

Based on the description and most of the reviews, I expected to be pleased with this product, but unfortunately, the listing is misleading. It was waaay to sweet to be called a protein, with 11 grams of sugar per portion, while the package has 2 servings, keeping in mind that it weighs a total of 70 grams, it has more carbs than a fruit!!!I bought the (what I thought was plain) original selection. I couldn't eat it even after trying to wash away all the sugar. It was still too sweet.It may work for someone, but for me personally, I like to have my sweets and protein separate.

I used to always buy these! The original, pepper, and lemon salt are my favorites. Unfortunately, i don't know if i will buy in bulk anymore or even buy these as often, because they are the same price as before and even cut down in quanitity!!! They used to be 2.75 oz but are now only 2 oz. When i opened the bag, i was surprised to see how little you get now. Besides, buying three bags at a time didn't cut costs for me. Therefore, i will not be purchasing for a long time. I would rather have a brand raise the price than to cut quantity. Besides, there are a lot of good snacks out there besides this.

High quality product with excellent flavor. The glaze is a little sticky, but yummy. This is a great brand.

We tried this in Hawaii this year and cannot get enough! Great non-fishy taste that is portable and the kids fight over it. Buy 3 bags at a time or your kids will fight over it too!
