When the manufacturer doesn't provide replacement parts or a model is discontinued, there are often many sellers on Amazon touting their item as a replacement part. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. These can quickly become a hot item, but a new thing I've discovered is that a manufacturer may not describe their own item as a replacement part for models xxx, xxx and xxx, but in the Q&A section, other "users" will state that it works for their xxxx, which is your model or within the range of models for which that part will fit yours. So even if you return within the 30 days, the item is still as it was described. This time, it was after 30 days when I tried to replace the tires, and these tires are over an inch longer. The original information from posters in Q&A is no longer visible for those sellers who carried this tire model, so perhaps Amazon has rectified this issue for this item. A continuing issue is that when sellers use this approach, thousands of the items may have been sold before it is caught.So, generally, it is best to buy from the original equipment manufacturer, and when you have to take the chance on a reseller, be sure to do it within 30 days and report problems early to reduce the combined amount of sales revenue from those who decide that it isn't worth the hassle of a return. (not that Amazon returns are much of a hassle)In this case, the information appears to have been rectified later, but it definitely did not fit my vacuum. The tire appears to be well made, and I can't confirm that this seller had a Q&A post with misinformation, so the rating is 4.

The anti slip wheels work well in assisting the iRobot vacuum to move well about the house and climb small inclines in the floor and the home base. Prior the these new wheels, the iRobot vacuum was having difficulty getting on to the home base and climbing small inclines and dividers in the floor. I recommend.

Easy to install

I rated 4 stars because the rubber wheels are molded to fit the c hannel of the plastic hub and fit very tightly which is good. The original wheels had extensions that extended into the plastic wheel hub to avoid tire slippage. Removing the worn tire requires breaking the extensions. No adhesive was provided to for the replacement tire. The new tires fit tight enough that they may not slip.

It's a little bit hard to do first time mainly because you will need to remove the current one which is glued to the wheel but it's not a rocket science. And could save $50 bucks. Also, even if I want to buy from roomba they have only the left side on their website. Thanks roomba to make me think on an alternative and save.

My roomba would always stop on a cliff, there was no cliff, it would just stop on thin carpets. It’s 5 years old so I decided the tires may be worn thin. I bought these and he doesn’t get “stuck” anymore. Well worth the $9 paid. It was hard getting the factory tires off( I had to pry off with a flat head screwdriver), easy to get the replacements on.

The new tires fit wonderfully well on the iRobot wheels and provide excellent traction. However, installing the replacement tires on a model S9 took more than an hour. I wish there was a video to show how to do the work.The trick is to remove the entire wheel housing. Then just remove the spring assembly from one wheel. Keep the other wheel assembled to use as a template for reassembly.. Then remove the old tire. This takes a lot of effort involving heavy scissors, a box, cutter, and pliers. But eventually all of the rubber from the old tires is gone. Then, I had to carefully slide the edge of the new tire into the housing. But once done, the new tires fit perfectly. Then using the opposite intact wheel as a guide, I replaced the spring assembly.In summary, if you have an hour, this is a great deal.

Our S9 was ALWAYS getting stuck with no traction in carpeted rooms and on any sort of rug and could no longer get back on the charging base all the time. I was ready to toss the thing until I noticed there was not much rubber on the drive wheels and I couldn't remember what new looked like. So, after a few searches I came across the notion of replacing the rubber around the wheel. I was not convinced but I thought it was a small cost to get such an expensive item back into operation. Well, it worked. The installation was not as easy as in some iRobot models but I was able to remove the old rubber and install these replacements. Now the robot vacuum is cleaning without getting stuck. I hope that the replacements hold up over time.

Great replacement and easy to fit

溝にはめ込みましたが、ピッタリでした!素材はしっかりしていて満足です。ネジで外したり、既存のタイヤを剥がすのはすこし時間がかかりましたが、15分位で作業が終わりました。

ルンバ871を約7年使用しており、約2年前にバッテリーを交換したが、最近、今まで越えれていた段差に引っかかり停止していることが度々あった。寿命かと思い買い直そうかと思ったが、タイヤに溝がなく、引っかかっていたのではと思い、タイヤ交換してみることにした。簡単に交換するなら、8000円くらいの物を買えばいいのですが、タイヤのゴムのみの交換もYouTubeを見て、できそうだったので、やってみました。結果、古いタイヤゴムを剥がすのが大変でしたが、1000円ぐらいでルンバが生き返ったので、大満足です。

Im Gegensatz zu allem anderen, das ich ausprobiert und zurückgeschickt habe, passen diese endlich mal auf ein 800er Modell. Etwas dick, so dass man mit dem Fender etwas aufpassen muss. Dafür im Innendurchmesser etwas zu groß, so dass sie etwas Spiel haben. Habe in anderen Beiträgen gesehen, dass man sie mit Sekundenkleber fixiert hat; ich fand, auch wegen der Elastizität, Kontakt- / Kraftkleber besser. So läuft das jetzt wieder rund und den Preis für einen Radsatz mit Motor konnte erst einmal gespart werden.
