Hello, The Centiar Dining Chair seat height is 18.75". Thank you, Daniel

Q: can these be used outside on patio?

No. The covering would quickly get dirty and the metal does not appear to be powder-coated or otherwise made waterproof. I use them in my living room as they are quiet comfortable and go with our minimalist decor.
