Are these pans, tefal e304s244 frying pan, 28cm, 24cm, jamie oliver, stainless steel, really 3.46 inches (8.7cm) tall?

Mine are 2.46 inches tall for the 28cm pan and a little less for the 24cm pan. They are good even heat and very non stick.

Is the underside of the grip padded?

No, although it is rounded and smooth. Stainless steel so it can go into the oven.

Size is in cm divide by 2.5 for inches

Wonderful!Wonderful!

I very seldom write reviews but this cookware is so wonderful that I have to tell everyone. It does everything it says it will do. Non stick,just wipe clean,even cooking. I am a long time cast iron user if cast iron for frying fried eggs but I can fry eggs in this skillet with little grease and it is so good as non sticking I have to chase the eggs in the skillet because they are moving around. I highly recommend this cookware

Quality nonstick at a reasonable price

This is my first time with a T-fal product, but so far I've been very pleased. The nonstick is similar to other high-end brands I've used, and the weight is heavy enough to distribute heat well. When these wear out, I would buy another set!

Small but good overall pans

These are very good pans. They are a touch smaller than the traditional 8 and 10 inch pans though.

Love my pans food cooks great in them. My big pan had a couple of scratches when I opened it. But it still cooks great.
