Great Toddler Scissors!
Love these scissors! I bought them thanks to a friend’s recommendation and they have not failed to amaze. My two-year-old easily slices through paper with the grace and ease of a beginning figure skater on ice. Would highly recommend!!**Only danger/concern is the fact that- having a much longer handle than normal scissors- you’ve gotta keep a sharp eye on your toddler that they hold the scissors properly and keep them away from their face!

Great pair of scissors!
Our 3 year old son's occupational therapist recommended these since the regular pair of scissors I got at the store just frustrated him. He cut with them right away with no issues!! I was afraid that they would be too big but they are just right (from top of middle finger to bottom of palm, his hand is about 4 1/2 inches). Even if they were too big, his occupational therapist said that she just puts a rubber band on them to make the loop a little smaller. He flips back and forth between his right and left, and he has no issues with cutting with either hand. The only thing is, I wish that they had a cover; they are sharp and stay open because the spring back. So I have to find a way to cover the blades without closing them because I dont want to ruin the spring that makes them work.

great scissors
I purchased these scissors for two reasons: I was looking for scissors that would be easy to use for myself as I have nerve problems with my hands and secondly for my pre-phonics class of 2 year old children. These scissors definitely serve their purposes. I use these scissors with ease as apposed to regular scissors where I have to put my fingers into the holes. Same for my classes of 2 year old children who are just learning to use scissors. They open automatically so it helps the kids to achieve the "open/close" concept needed to use regular scissors. That being said it also gives the kids more self confidence because they can cut paper with more ease. I would recommend these scissors for use as beginning scissors for children learning to use scissors as it helps making the transition to regular scissors much easier.

Great for young children!
Easier than typical scissors for young children- my (tiny) two-year-old uses these to successfully cut paper. I bought these for a friend’s four-year-old who was struggling with fine motor skills. She was able to be successful cutting with these scissors, and her mom noticed large amounts of growth in her fine motor abilities, which she attributed to the scissor practice. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars rather than 5 is because I wish there was more than one size option- my two-year-old uses these scissors but it would be more comfortable for him if there was a smaller size.

Great for adults
These are fantastic. I originally bought them for my son, but they were too big for his kindergartner sized hands, so I kept them for myself. They make cutting things so easy and enjoyable, my hands never get tired like they do with traditional scissors. I find myself reaching for these while my other scissors gather dust. These would be perfect for anyone that experiences hand fatigue or has arthritis that makes opening and closing your hand difficult, or anyone that just enjoys using tools that make the job easier. Great value for the price. These are definitely adult sized or older teen sized.

Kid with Juvenile Arthritis
This product is "buy it a thousand times over" product. I bought it off some other website and my daughter who has arthritis used her scissors a lot in school. I also purchased for home use too. She absolutely loves it. Now she's in middle school, she still would use it. Caution, it is very sharp and it lasts a long time. If the loop breaks (naturally, plastic becomes brittle over time), the price is great and I would buy more in a heart beat.

Too Big For Kids
These are way too big for kids. I knew that they might be from some of the other reviews before I bought them, but people had said that you could place their hand down lower to fit their grip - not so much... I bought these for my 3yr old grandson who is in occupational therapy to help him with some developmental delays he is experiencing (he was born premature). They are way too big and complicated for him to use just yet. Great "concept", just wish they were smaller.

Best kiddie scissors out there
My 3yr old has been dying to cut things with a "real" scissor. But honestly, he didn't have the coordination to operate even the light and flimsy kiddie scissors. His preschool teacher recommended these. Within 20minutes of trying them, he was able to get the opening and closing motion down on his own. He still needs help turning the paper and directing the scissor, but he can open and close this one much easier than any other we have tried. This has greatly lessened his frustration and even given him motivation to give the other scissors another try.
