1 X K-Cup Holder (Black)

I just ordered this item, so I'll update my review when I receive it. But I purchased a Keurig coffee maker today from a Goodwill store. Given the half price discount I got I only paid 10$ for it. Of course, I was disappointed when I got home and it didn't work (I have never used one before) but after wasting 3 k-cups and doing some extensive googling I found out that it was missing this part. Since I purchased the machine second hand I'm pretty sure Keurig won't send me a new part, so I've decided to try this one. I'll post an update once I try it. I believe the model is a B40, but I'm not certain.Update: I received the item one day earlier than expected and it works perfectly. I push the k-cup down onto the tube myself just to make sure it gets on there, and then everything works just as it should. So it makes the whole keurig system I bought about 25$. I'm pretty pleased with it and would recommend this product, especially if you ever pick up a second hand machine anywhere. Couldn't believe my luck. Now on to spend a fortune on K cups ;)

The original holder to our Keurig model 70 mysteriously disappeared (a.k.a., husband not fessing up) and I wanted a new one ASAP. I knew from the reviews that this was not an actual Keurig product, but what bothers me is this: There is a huge needle in the bottom of the holder, as opposed to the "nub" as in the Keurig one. Since this 19th century needle is so large, it makes the top needle/gasket in the Keurig machine poke too far into the K-cup and make a big crater instead of a small hole (as if you punched your finger through the foil). As a result, it seems...messier in the machine. However, I had no extra grounds in my coffee, and I was able to have my morning coffee and be a nicer person to my children.Summary: It'll do in a pinch, but I'm going to call Keurig and order a legit replacement.UPDATE: The above mentioned problem only happened the first two times and now it works like a champ. 10/10 would purchase again.

This fits in my Keurig machine and works but is not quite right.The holder does not seat firmly in the machine. The plastic clips don't fit into the notches on the machine. This leaves the holder loose in the machine. I can close the machine and make coffee, but it clicks as the holder moves around when the machine is closed. I have to be careful when closing the machine to ensure its in there right. Easy for me, but company is not always as observant. Nor should they have to be.Also, the metal puncture spout in the bottom, the part where the coffee goes into your cup, is larger than the original. This is good as that was what broke on my original. This is however bad as it prevents using the "solofil" cup I was using for brewing ground coffee. The spout stuck up too much and the cup would not seat to where I could close the machine.I've bought three of these from different places and vendors and they all have similar if not the same problems. They all seem just a little off from the original.So, yes, it works in a pinch but not quite right.

Our last holder had a battle with the heating element in our dishwasher and lost badly. I ended up finding this and purchasing it immediately. I then read some of the reviews and it was mentioned that if you call Keurig that they would send you one for free. I decided to give this a shot and it worked. They took my serial number and said that although they do not sell the items that they would send it out to me for free this one time. The holder from Keurig seemed slightly heavier and arrived in about a week but honestly they both worked perfectly. The good thing with the purchased K-cup Holder from Amazon, was that it was cheap and came about a week sooner than the one from Keurig. You can't beat 1 day shipping.

I needed this K-Cup Holder in a hurry. We were on vacation and had taken our Keurig with us but failed to bring the holder. Didn't discover it until the first morning we were on vacation. So I ordered this one using Amazon Prime to get it as soon as possible. It arrived as expected and worked with no problems. Vacation saved.Until this arrived, we were going out and buying coffee and placing it in the refrigerator to warm it up for the next morning. Not a very good plan so we were very happy when this holder arrived. I was concerned that it wouldn't work as some of the reviews indicated some problems, but this worked fine.

This $4.99 item fixed my parents Keurig K-Cup coffee maker and they got a new Keurig maker because Keurig only wants you to send in this little guy. My parents gave me they old Kurieg maker and Keurig sent them an entire new set up. My parents gave me their old Keurig and I cleaned it up and it looks and works like new with this item. Now please do not use this information just to get a second Keurig maker for a friend or lived one etc.at $4.99. I'm just saying Keurig is a great company and stands behind their product 100%. I'd say this is the best coffee maker I've ever owned. GO AMAZON, GO KUERIG. "Amazon for ever", "Amazon for ever". Oh! Side bar folks. Amazon works together with Best Buy, so GO BEST BUY!

Had my wife not thrown away the original one that came with our Keurig (she uses actual grounds, not K-cups (coffee elitist...) I never would have discovered the splendor that is "K-Cup Holder (Black)." The way that it caresses the K-cup is almost arousing. I would not hesitate to purchase "K-Cup Holder (Black)" again. Hell, I may buy several thousand of them and sleep on them, like a makeshift "K-Cup Holder (Black)" bed/ball-pit. Oh the majesty that could be...

The K-cup holder I received works okay, but isn't identical to the original part for the brewer I own (maybe it's the holder from a different model?) The item I received looks worn - clearly refurbished, and it doesn't snap into place securely like the one that came with my brewer. The needle in the bottom of the holder is bigger (wider diameter opening), doesn't look as sharp, and it doesn't have the thin, rubber sheathing around it like the original cup holder. But, it does work and it's an inexpensive fix if you need the part and otherwise can't use your brewer.
